Alion 2018 Magnum

DESCRIPTION: The property was once known as "Pagos de la Vega de Santa Cecilia," then became Vega Sicilia. It is located in the heart of Old Castile, in the famous wine region of Ribera del Duero. The vineyards are located on a soil composition in the siliceous-calcareous alluvial and partly to a height of about seven hundred and fifty meters above sea level, where the proximity to the river Duero favors ideal climatic conditions. In 1982, Vega Sicilia was acquired by the Alvarez family who restored and renovated the basement. The vinification is taken care of by the oenologist Xavier ANSAS. The Alvarez family owns two other wineries in Spain, Bodegas y Viñedos Alión in the Ribera del Duero and Pintia in the region of Toro, and the cellar Oremus in Hungary, near Tokaj
