DESCRIPTION: Clonal selection of Sangiovese, locally called Brunello. Manual harvest, with rigorous selection of the best bunches. Fermentation on the skins for 15 days at controlled temperature below 28 ° C, in low and wide 60 and 80 hl steel tanks. Aging 4 years, 2 of which in Allier oak barrels with a capacity of 30 and 10 hl and in a 5 hl tonneau. Subsequent refinement of 2 years in bottle in temperature-controlled rooms. Deep ruby red color with good intensity; the varietal notes of Sangiovese are enhanced by the tertiary aromas of aging in an elegant and harmonious way. The body is balanced with a good acidity and a delicate tannic texture. Finesse and elegance dominate in a not particularly powerful vintage. Long, clean and savory aftertaste.
