DESCRIPTION:Amarone della Valpolicella selection Antonio Castagnedi Tenuta Sant'Antonio born in vineyards located in the municipalities of Colognola ai Colli and Mezzane di Sotto, in the heart of the extraordinary terroir of Valpolicella. The harvest is done manually, it follows a soft pressing, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures with lievieti selected. The wine is aged in oak barrels for two years before being bottled. It has a ruby red color, with purple reflections; the nose opens with aromas of ripe red fruits, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of licorice, black pepper and chocolate. The palate is warm, tasty and pleasantly cool. The wine has a well balanced body, with round tannins. Perfect to accompany dishes with truffles and cheese, it is ideal in combination with game, roasts and grilled red meat
