DESCRIPTION:It is the great wine of the Castle, it was born from the vineyard planted in Mormoreto 1976. The wine was born with the 1983 vintage and has since been produced in years more favorable. Harvests in 1984, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002 was not product. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, planted 150 years ago, they found an ideal match in time with the territory enhancing the unique character. It 'an opulent wine, deep, great finesse and longevity. Mormoreto 2011 is ruby red with violet reflections on the nail. The nose emerge fruits such as blueberry and black cherry, followed by hints of iodine, china and notes balsamic eucalyptus and mint. At the end, very light spicy cardamom. In the mouth the tannins are substantial, thick and almost impenetrable. Silky and velvety, it has a rich body and a long finish marked by notes of iodine and stamp balsamic. Excellent with meat preparations in long cooking like stews, pot roasts and stews. Perfect with cheese.
