Timmermans was founded in 1702 while Guinness in 1759. These two breweries, among the most historic in the world, have collaborated for a special limited edition product. The new Lambic & Stout beer (6% vol. Alc.), Is the result of an assembly of three beers: the Guinness Special Export, the Guinness West Indies Porter and the Oude Kriek of Timmermans. Only 2 thousand bottles (75 cl) produced at Itterbeek, with only a few stems added.An interesting and pleasant balance between the toasted notes of “dark” beer and the acid notes of kriek cherries which, it should be remembered, is a lambic to which a particular variety of cherries have been added to maceration.
