GRAPES: 100% Nebbiolo
DESCRIPTION: Harvest: first decade of October. Vinification: fermentation with replacements in stainless steel tanks for about 6 days and subsequent prolonged maceration for 10 days. Aging: in medium toasted Allier barriques for 24 months, with further aging of about 6 months in bottle. Appearance: red. A Barolo of imposing structure with a beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections. Smell: on the nose it gives intense aromas of small red fruits, with a clear raspberry sensation enriched by a note of dried rose, spices and suggestions of burnt wood. Palate: spicy notes come back on the palate, wrapped in a sweet fruit stimulated by the decisive and very dense tannins. Pairings: main courses of red meat, game and cheeses.
