DESCRIPTION: A modern and fruity Sauternes, Les Remparts de Bastor Lamontagne is the second wine from Château Bastor-Lamontagne, produced with the same grapes and terroir as its "big brother." It comes from younger vines and an initial selection of grapes. After gentle pressing with a pneumatic press and light decantation of the must, fermentation takes place in tanks. Les Remparts de Bastor-Lamontagne 2022 presents an elegant golden color, enriched with silvery reflections. The nose is complex and refined, with floral and spicy notes. Aromas of candied fruit and white flowers are perceived. On the palate, it is full, balanced, and persistent, with notes of pineapple, lime zest, and honey.
